Rudolph Valentino sheet music That Night in Araby, from the 1926 Rudolph Valentino silent film The Son of the Sheik, is for sale. The Son of the Sheik silent film was released in 1926 the year in which Rudolph Valentino died at the age of just 31.


The That Night in Araby sheet music front cover is just exceptional with two black and white images of Rudolph Valentino in costume as Sheik Ahmed Ben Hassan posing with his co-star actress Vilma Banky in costume as dancing girl Yasmin.  Rudolph Valentino is also pictured in costume in a head and shoulders photograph as Sheik Ahmed Ben Hassan.  


The That Night in Araby sheet music front cover also provides full details of the composers of That Night in Araby, with words by Billy Rose and music by Ted Snyder.  The publisher for this sheet music was B Feldman and Co of Shaftsbury Avenue London.

As a point of interest, The Son of the Sheik is one of the first films to be a sequel in cinema history, with the first film being The Sheik; and is one of the first films to be released after the star’s death. The Son of the Sheik was released in the US on 5th September 1926 and Rudolph Valentino died suddenly on 23rd August 1926.

This Rudolph Valentino The Son of the Sheik sheet music is in remarkably Very Good condition with no major tears but with wear to the edges, a central fold, and age toning discolouration.
